I have had a lovely play this afternoon....
....I had prepared the background ages ago on my embellisher, added some machine embroidery in variegated threads....
.....added felt, beads and french knots...
....the photo is not brilliant as the light is so poor today!

Next mixed some paints on perspex and Gelli Plate and played....
RD very kindly cut cones for me...
....I pressed the outside of the cone into my Gelli also fern leaves...
....the inside painted and printed on my own hand made paper, lovely texture, quite like the print but I thought it would show more detail!
Feathers collected from the beach placed on Gelli which has a lot of white acrylic and tiny amount of black rollered...
....this print was using the feathers as a resist on a pre printed paper...
....again using the feathers as a resist on black sugar paper...
.....black paper pressed onto the Gelli after the feathers have been removed, rather like the delicate pattern....
...this was one of my wooden printing blocks on a thick woven natural cotton fabric....
....feel some stitching coming on!
Now I must get back to all the jobs I have to do!
