Calligraphy and a Trip to Lytham

17th October 2014

The prompt from the group today, SEASON, and this brought to mind some calligraphy work I did when I first retired and before I discovered TEXTILES!

I went to a weekly adult learning class and loved the precision of the letters and later learning to decorate them......

....this was from my celtic knot work book....

....I have put this on my board, the leaves were cut from sponged tissue.

Spent the next half hour looking through the books I made, another trip down memory lane!!!
::::
Went to Lytham to deliver some of my cards then went for a walk...

...Jack exploring...

...Lowther Gardens...

.....the colours of autumn....

...I tried to photo 2 squirrels....

....collected cones...

...this working clock was made using pebbles...

...so much colour...

...never seen so much Honesty....

...love looking up....

....a very unusual tree trunk in one of the gardens....

....my treasures...

....another lovely day and RD has cooked dinner!!!
