Woke at 5am today, couldn't go back to sleep so up-dated my Journal....
...used the Tate bag to store my postcards..
...exhibition brochure, page decorated in the style of Matisse!

The poppies are magnificent at the moment so thought I would start a felted picture....
...variegated Merino Fleece from my stash felted onto black felt....
....felted two plain shades for some poppy leaves....
....so quick with the embellisher...
...positioned on the background, more tomorrow....
...10 am and went to Garstang for a river walk.....
...nettles with very pretty flowers....
....cow parsley coming to an end...
....this area has been left to go wild apart from mowed pathways...
.....buttercups and large daisies, so beautiful.
