It has been two weeks since I walked by the sea and decided I was going to venture today as the wind didn't seem as strong and it wasn't raining!!!
I actually wore a hat -I never wear hats- as the wind was ICY but really enjoyed my brisk walk.....
....the sun was playing 'hide and seek' but the sea, beach and sky were so beautiful...
.....the lighter sand was actually 'blowing sand' so we didn't venture down as Jack might have got sand in his eyes!
A lovely milky hot chocolate and the last piece of Christmas cake was my treat when I arrived home!

Next had a little brainstorm about future projects....
...I have enjoyed making wall hangings and this is an idea for another....
....I have collected quite a few old pieces of cloth/lace from my charity shop visits and would like to use this for embroidery using natural shades of thread and wool fleece...
.....another idea is to make a tree season picture, looking at this I am thinking the blossom tree should come first!
