Spent a lovely couple of hours with a friend this morning, chatting, admiring her creations using mixed media then watched her create using her Gelli....
....base colour a lovely silvery grey, then other shades blobbed on...

....printed, just beautiful!

Came home and had to have a play myself but using different colours...
....love the texture in this example, thick paint....
....tried printing using my feather wooden block on an old linen runner so I can embellish with stitch at a later date!

Yesterday I prepared two fabric cards by cutting out Bondaweb backed samples of my own dyed fabric from my stash....
...today I free machined...
....it is so hard taking photos when there is very poor natural light!

Looking forward to dyeing and printing fabric with my friend next Tuesday, it is SO stimulating when you work with a friend or in a group!
