A Happy Couple of Days

I have sold 3 cards this week and have an order for another!

Also a friend has nominated me to take part in an 'art chain', I have to post a different piece of work on 5 consecutive days and nominate another person to do the same. I was so thrilled to be thought of as an 'artist'!!

Yesterday we saw friends we hadn't seen for ages and it was just like old times but it did make me wonder where the years had gone....

I have been asked to make more landscape keepsake cards so yesterday I made 2....

...chose hand dyed fabrics from my stash....

.....frayed some edges for texture and stitched in place....

.......cut into 2 pieces and free machined some detail....

.....added blue fleece, fabric, beads and french knots....

.....the same but using orange/yellow.....

.....quite like using different colours, might try pinks next time!

Off to a small 'Antiques Fair' today to look for old linen and lace...
