Postcard and ATC....

Greetings from Blackpool, cold but not quite as windy.....

....today I finished my small ripple blanket, using yarn left from previous projects....

.....I am quite pleased with it!

My creative group have a postcard and ATC (Artist Trading Card ) swap each month so I decided to take part in both.

Sometimes we are given a theme but this month we were asked to use a colour and design from prompts received in January.....

.....I chose these colours from my own dyed fabrics and cut into 1/2 " squares....

....and stitched using satin stitch....

....this is on its way to Australia!

Next came the postcard and I chose these colours....

....selected a variety of my own dyed fabrics....

.....and stitched by machine and hand....

.....so enjoyed making this using a variety of textures, threads and the skeleton leaf....

.....do hope both recipients enjoy as much as I enjoyed creating!
