I have had a great day.....
.....started by taking the yarn bombing down in the park....
...with lots of help from other volunteers....
....spotted the first flowering daffodils!

As I was in my warm clothing went for a lovely beach walk, the gales had caused the beach to change, wonderful shapes in the sand around the pools....
.....birds feeding....
....love these colours....
.....so many starfish and shells after the storms....
....my shadow and a piece of driftwood....
.....another very large piece of driftwood, too big for RD to carry home!!
As we walked back along the prom, against the wind, a flock of starlings rose up from the grass verge and settled on the team lines until we passed!

Came home and had a play.....
......I used some felt I had made ages ago, cut out a shape and backed this with beautiful velvet.....
....hand couched around the edge of the shape with yarns....
....want to do hand stitching next....
....I then stitched the shape I had cut out and stitched onto another piece of felt....
...watch this space!
