On Saturday, while wandering around Lytham, I saw some damsons on the fruit stall and decided to make Damson Gin. I have never made it before but my daughter assured me it was easy!
Looked up a recipe on Google, damsons, sugar and gin......
...sterilised 2 kilner jars, layered pricked, washed damsons with sugar and added the gin....
......after a night soaking, love the colour!
Just have to wait 3 months to taste it!!
While I was preparing leeks for dinner yesterday I noticed this lovely pattern....
......the layers are not as visible in the photo but I loved the shading and thought I would take a photo.
