A Trip to Yarndale in Skipton

28th September 2014

I had a BRILLIANT day yesterday visiting Yarndale in Skipton.

The scenery on the way was so beautiful, autumnal colours and a misty haze.

The show was very well organised and had a huge variety of exhibitors displaying really beautiful work, so many talented people willing to share their knowledge, really inspiring!!

The alpaca, such a lovely face....

...sheep providing special wool.

This is 'Lucy the Tudor' who was busy making wooden items that were used in Tudor Times....

...spindles, spoons and toys all beautifully hand crafted.

Lucy also visits schools demonstrating spinning and weaving using her historically accurate products.
