The last few days our weather has been a very damp sea mist with little sun but today it was glorious so headed off to the park and met two others for some tidying and weeding.....
.......lovely to see all the fresh green shoots and buds....
....Enid has dug up some mint roots, to plant up in pots, to sell on our Fun Day in June...
.....the sun was really warm on our backs as we were working, wonderful!

This is my ongoing project, stitching with hemp thread today but had to make holes with a bradawl first!
This has now been coated with Gesso ready for the next stage tomorrow.

Yesterday I free machined the branches and today I stitched french knots using a variegated hand dyed thread in shades of burnt orange....
.....I was so pleased with the result I made another...
.....used pink thread for the blossom this time.

Also made another page in my Beach/Sea book....
.....stitched round the printed starfish onto tea dyed cotton fabric and added a couple of my beach photos.
I have had a good day!!
