Blustery Blackpool!

Very blustery today,  took Jack onto the beach, certainly very fresh!!

The sea was a good way out....

....Jack loves rolling in the sand....

.....rough seas have left lots of razor shells....

....my finds!

I decided to make something in my new space although I  still have lots of fabric waiting  to be sorted!!

I started with some flecked fleece and a small cylinder vase...

.....embellished into a piece of felt...

.....embroidered using tapestry wool....

......stitched the shape....

.....finished, a removable felt vase cover!

Found this quilted leaf...

.....and finished the button adding french knots and beads, this is 5 cms.

A very enjoyable day and I love my new space!!!
