Thursday,Friday and Saturday

Our last meal on Thursday evening in the farmhouse dining room....

....such a lovely group of ladies!

Friday morning we had a short walk to say goodbye to the animals....

...new born calves...

....a fish weather vane shining in the sun....

.....sheep waiting to be dagged..

.....dagging is where the back end of the sheep is sheared, the sheep on the right now look a lot cleaner!!

Saturday my sister and I went to Hampton Court for our course...

....beautiful gateway...

.....Hampton court...

.....apparently the 'bunches' of foliage are mistletoe....

.....loved this....

....trees are wonderful shapes....

....this is the beautiful work of a lovely 16 year old who was sat next to me.....

.....this is mine!!!!

I was unable to see the white thread on the white fabric so was given gold...

.....and a magnifier and light....

....still didn't find it easy but I loved the process of this counted thread work and will definitely try on a much larger weave and thicker thread, old eyes and hands are not the best for this beautiful work!!
