Rainy and dull today so did a little housework then played.....
...I came across this yarn in my stash....
......embellished it onto a felt base....
....next tried with small pieces of different fabrics...
....used silk, scrim, organza and cotton.
These are now in my journal.
Next I took a piece of thick pre-felt and fleece...
...embellished...
.....chose some fabric strips...
....and embellished...
...I am going to add stitching and silk carrier rods for more texture....
....watch this space to see the completed wall hanging.
I really enjoyed the process and am looking forward to the hand stitching.
