Experimenting with my Embellisher.....

My day began with a little housework-BORING!!!

I needed to shorten some trousers for my trip -short legs!!

Then I decided to watch....

......my  Myfanwy Hart Embellisher DVD's.....

....I was inspired to embellish this piece of fabric(man made)...

.....placed on a piece of felt to stabilise....

.....lovely texture...

.....embellished  onto  piece of viscose/linen....

....back...

....added oddments of fabrics, silk, hessian, scrim and linen....

....after embellishment, love the textures....

....begging for stitch!

I was really enjoying this....

.....found a piece of silk....

...placed on felt to stabilise and embellished....

....love the texture and will probably use in a sea picture.

Now 'on a roll'....

.....selected pieces of my indigo dyed fabrics and embellished onto calico....

....think I will take this on my trip and Kantha stitch in white and indigo threads!

Such a brilliant, quick way to make a new fabric......

Think I have mentioned before that I belong to an on-line group , Be Creatively, and the prompt for October was 9 paper squares....

.....this is my interpretation of the prompt using my own papers from my stash....
