My Day....

A fabulous day here in Blackpool, hot with a gentle cooling breeze......

....we went for a long beach walk this morning while the sun was hiding behind the clouds.....

....a lot of sea activity on the new pipe line...

....clouds beginning to break up ....

.....I stood and let the waves break over my feet, first time this year!

It must have been rough out at sea as there were many dead jellyfish, this one was huge....

.....and lots of sea weed....

...RD and Jack having a paddle....

.....my beach finds...

.....wonderful texture on these shells.

We bought plants labelled 'assorted coloured sweet peas' a few weeks but it seems to be mange tout!!

Checked my dried flowers, these were the petals from the beautiful red poppy and they feel like silk!

Pink poppy...

.....cornflowers....

....cow parsley.

Added hand stitching to my picture and framed it, RD liked it!!

The beginning of the next project, I have printed on my rusted linen with a feather....

....the base, using my rusted hand made cloth....

.....watch this space!

We will be eating our meal in the garden this evening, still very warm.....
