Drove up to Morcambe on this very beautiful November day.....
...we were looking for a beach somebody had said was very good for beach combing....
.......don't think we found it, but we did walk miles...
.....in beautiful scenery....
...even Jack had fun....
.....a lot of seaweed and limpet covered rocks....
....sea birds searching for food as the tide recedes...
....Jack investigating and attacking seaweed....
....huge rocks formed the sea defences in a series of coves...
....texture and colour....
....view of the Lake District in the distance as we ate our picnic....
......rusted railings.....
....thought these were metal but on closer inspection seemed to be carved from rock....
....hard to believe this is a November sky...
....boats in the bay...
....liked the decoration on these railings!
A very lovely day.
