After a good work out at Pilates I decided to make a folder for all my notes and templates from my play-mat project.
I used some of my dyed fabric, cut it to size and backed with fine wadding and medium vilene as a stiffener. I am sorry but forgot to take photos of this stage!!
I found a hand made ceramic button that I bought last year on a visit to the lakes and made a gathered elasticated Rouleau.......
....next I quilted the 3 layers then lined and stitched.
As I was stitching I thought this idea could be used for a laptop case, Kindle cover and I even might make some place mats using some of my lovely wooden printing blocks!
Back to the last 5 squares for my play-mat tomorrow.
