I made this a while ago but have had problems loading photos until yesterday when my lovely son sorted it for me!!
This is for another 6" square wall canvas, I selected some of my indigo fabrics for the background, textured cotton overlaid with silk....
...using turmeric dyed cotton which I backed with bondaweb cit out a circle...
...added petals using different turmeric dyed fabrics for added texture.
...and lots of french knots in the centre in shades of brown. Free machined around the some of the petals and pleased with the result!
The light wasn't very good for photos hence varying shades!!
I have planted seeds in pots outside so will post photos if the flower.....

My sister needed a phone case to wear round her neck in the house so using scraps of my dyed fabrics and recycled sari silks I layered them on wadding and stitched using a variety of machine stitches....
...made a cord to match the colours and I love it...
...think I may make one for myself!
